職場上不適用sit down或stand up!一次看懂sit、seat英文用法差在哪

會議開始,Eddy請大家就坐,他說:Sit down. 他以為這是「請坐」,原來這麼說很不禮貌。

那就加一個「請」,會不會變得有禮貌了?"Please sit down.”

這樣說也不禮貌。很多教室裡習以為常的用法,到職場才發現不合用。Stand up/Sit down這幾句話幾乎是教室裡學到的第一句話,但它不是「請坐」,而是「坐下」,語氣有差:

Sit down.
(X)請坐。
(O)坐下。

「坐下」是一種命令的語氣,像父母教小孩、老師對小學生、或主人訓練小狗時候說的話 ... ...
